House Type - Burdei

A burdei, or bordei (Ukrainian: бурдей, бурдій, Romanian: bordei) is a type of half-dugout shelter, somewhat between a sod house and a log cabin. This style is native to the Carpathian Mountains and forest steppes of eastern Europe.
